Kasar Devi Temple Almora
Kasar Devi is a hamlet situated close to Almora in Uttarakhand. It is home to the renowned Kasar Devi Temple, dedicated to the deity of the same name. The structure of this temple has been around since the 2nd century CE, making it a significant historical landmark. During the 1890s, Swami Vivekananda made a pilgrimage to Kasar Devi and met with several western seekers, including Sunyata Baba Alfred Sorensen and Lama Anagarika Govinda.
Chitai Golu Devta Temple
Chitai Almora Temple is famous for the veneration of Golu Devta, an incarnation of Lord Shiva also known as Gaur Bhairav.
